How Much Should I Charge To Build This Website?
I created a website for an affiliate marketing proprietor. I used a template but did massive editing in notepad with both the CSS file, picture, plus I had to link pages together and login to his marketing account and paste 200+ links onto 5 webpages which also had to be designed in addition to the home page which i filled with graphics, widgets, clipart, etc…
About 50 Banner ads had to be configured too. (size,placement,location,etc…)
This took me about a week to do by myself.
Rule number 01: “Consultation” – Analyze the project first, detail what you plan on changing/adding and set a price bracket before any actual work is done.
Without seeing everything you have done I’m not prepared to guess at what I might have charged assuming I’d of taken the same approach. But as a general guide line you might be better to look on freelancing sites and see what people bid for similar projects. What you’ve described sounds fairly basic and would most certainly be in the less than $300 bracket.
